ABOUT US:

JONATHAN CECI LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS (JCLA) is a young design firm in Baltimore, whose mission is to expose and distill what is extraordinary and beautiful in each unique place. We are committed to the distinctness of landscape architecture as a hybrid discipline and provide a space where the unique insights of landscape architectural practice can incubate and compound—ultimately enriching our collaboration with other professions.

Though small in number, we have an outsized impact, working in diverse environments across the continental US. Recent projects range from gardens on the Chesapeake Bay to new campus landscapes in South Carolina and Mississippi to public lands in the Great Plains and public parks throughout Baltimore. Across all project types, we aspire to create thriving plant communities, spaces that perform well for people and durable, well-crafted details.  Careful listening and fun, engaging dialogue with stakeholders are also central to our practice.
